What is a Support Coordinator?

A Support Coordinator helps and assists in managing and implementing your funding plan so that you can easily achieve your life’s goals and enthusiastically participate in your community.

Step by step:

Its all about you, it's your plan so it needs to work for you with you in control.
Let's unpick your plan together and decide how we can make it really work for you.
To start with I will work with you to secure those services which best meet all your needs.
If the services being used are not working for you in the way you want them to work, we will find a better way if there is one.
If there is ever a change in your circumstances - health and life can be unpredictable, we will manage those changes with you and for you and quickly get your life back on track.
I will be with you for the duration of the plan to make sure you are happy with the way it is working for you, and if changes need to be made we will make them together.
The NDIS can all be overwhelming and confusing with lots of jargon, weird words, numbers and tiers- in essence if Support Coordination is in your plan lets get this plan working for you!

Who am I?

My name is Andrea Preece and I'm an NDIS Service Provider with over twenty years experience in the disability sector. My career began in the UK over twenty years ago and for the last ten years here in Western Australia. I live in Margaret River and I have clients throughout the South West and the Great Southern of Western Australia.

Until quite recently when I decided that there was a real need for me as an independent NDIS Provider, in what is increasingly becoming a corporate world, I was working as Regional Manager for a leading Not For Profit organisation in the South West of Western Australia.

I have been working with and navigating my way through the complexities of the NDIS since its inception through to its official roll out. There have been many changes and some confusion starting with ‘My Way in WA’ — now we have the NDIS and my commitment is to make it work for you.

Supporting and guiding families and individuals to live the best lives they can, by providing them with information and guidance to access all of the tools, services, funding and community that are available to them.

I'm a mother, and grandmother; I care about people and working with others to access supports and services needed to have a life that is typical... I've always believed that all of us can be part of our communities leading quality lives. Its often just figuring out how. I embrace the difference in all of us, but sometimes the people around us need a little encouragement in how to be more accepting, understanding, compassionate and welcoming.
